losin' my mind at wally world!!

i did the bi-weekly shopping at wally world this last saturday. i got myself pumped up, cause goin' to wally world aint no joke. ya know what i'm sayin'? so... i got my list together by walkin' all thru the house to see what we needed. stop it....you do it too! finally, after all the pre-game hype, i get to wally world and "it's time to do work." i was doin' good for the first 15 minutes or so (going off of memory) and then i went to the list. do you know i couldn't read what I HAD WRITTEN! i sat there starring, thinkin' to myself.........what is THAT! am i trippin'? you...have...got...to...be...kiddin! after 'bout 2 good hard minutes and i mean..... hard minutes of lookin' at my list... i remembered what i was tryin' to write. i'm still a little worried that i couldn't read my gibberish and that i had to go off memory. WOW!!

My husband gets moody just knowing we're going to walmart...it's like detention for grownups he says. i'm doing good if I can keep the list in one piece! Generally after losing it a few times, finding "pieces" of it carefully removed by my oldest and putting the list back together I am remembering the one thing I forgot to put on the list and finally we make it to the checkout line. Just wait until Selah is old enough to "hold" the list for you :) Fun times!! Fun times. Good thing Wally world is cheap - it makes the craziness almost worth it. Blogs are great - it's my one way of connecting to the rest of the world when I feel lost in my house and have only had a "conversation" with a 1 1/2 year old all day :)

Ha! Thea, your husband gets moody just thinking about going to Wal-Mart, too?? Hmmm.... that sounds familiar. ;)

They should have a "husband" section at walmart just to keep everybody happy - all the husbands & kids can disappear into a bouncy castle with built in flat-screens and we can get the shopping done. I may be on to something here...

oh comeon - nobody likes walmart...it's fluorescent lights and that one screaming toddler you can hear while buying groceries even though they're way over in the gardening section...how can anybody like that? Now...a whole box of graham crackers for $1?? I can like THAT! Ok...too much blogging for me today - I have cleaning to do!
